Eragrostis literally meaning Love Grass. Grostis meaning grass, and of course Eros was the Greek God of Love. These little known, rarely grown hardy grasses are worthy of a place in most gardens, being attractive and easy to grow, with sometimes-spectacular flowers. They are also very drought tolerant, particularly trichodes, but are very adaptable given a well-lit position. We currently stock and recommend the following varieties. |
