SILK TREE. The acacia-like foliage is a good foil for the beautiful fragrant rose-pink flowers in summer. In our experience this plant is much hardier than it is usually given credit for. It is worthy of a position in the garden for its foliage alone, although the flowers are a real treat in our globally warmed summers. The fine foliage is a real treat, like the minosa, the leaves curl up at night and open up again during the day. |
